Go Fly A Kite!

I was hanging laundry on the line & Dylan saw the sheets whipping in the wind. He went racing to the shed & came running out with the kite, calling, "Let's go fly it!" Kobe wasn't sure what to think - he got tangled in it a couple of times as Dylan ran around him. Then he just sat down to watch.

Oh, cyberfriend, you must live in heaven on earth. Have you lived there forever? I shouldn't allow my jealousy to be so obvious, but it's spilling out all over the place. Just a couple of days ago after a nasty incident involving two of my kids, me, and an angry group of fire ants Mary said to me, "Mommy, we should move somewhere where it is snowy and there aren't any ants." I couldn't agree more. Please tell me more about where you live!! We won't be leaving central Texas anytime soon, but a girl can dream....

The pictures are great. I took a picture of the colors at the golf course when I was out the other day and sent it to Grandma. She said it made her homesick. Things we take for granted!

Hi Renae - It is lovely here. We have only lived here since 2000. It was difficult to get used to the 'small town' life at first, but now it really feels like home. And another plus...the real estate is super cheap because it's not a larger city!!! I will see if I have more pictures & put a post up.
