Last week, we went to a local farm to see their baby lambs.
When we first got there, Kobe was so intimidated and out of his element that he was tippy-toeing around the mud puddles. By the time we left, he was so comfortable that he was purposely stomping in the sheep poop. Gross!

Dylan was having a great time until the sheep all started to stampede from one end of the barn to the other. I've got to say, I was a little scared too. I just told him to back up against the wall until they were all by. Afterwards, our host said that her little girl had been trampled when she was 7 years old and she had been really worried. Yikes, thanks for saying! I am really not a farm-girl and have no idea about these things.

Some of the lambs are bottle-fed and the children got a kick out of feeding them from the 'baby nipples'.

The lambs were curious about Zane. He was sleeping when we got there, but awoke shortly after. He was sitting in his carseat and I turned around to see a lamb trying to suck on his nose. Really! The children howled with laughter! Zane didn't seem as amused.

The sheep from that farm are being sheared sometime in May and she said she'd give us a call. Dylan would love to see that.
