A Surprise For Dylan

This spring, Dylan started feeding the birds. I guess they didn't quite eat all the seeds. We had a smattering of these pop up...

...much to Dylan's delight. Much to my delight, too - I have been getting fresh-picked sunflowers from my little guy for weeks. Dylan can feed the birds any time he wants to!

Good Morning: How wonderful. We never know what we can get from a deed of kindness when we first do it, do we? Lovely picture. Love Granma Margaret from California
(& Peter, too.)

I remember the time one of my boys snuck a Sunflower seed into my vegetable garden. It grew to be over 12 feet tall with 2 large heads!

Sometimes the unexpected surprise can bring much joy!

We had a bunch of surprise tomato plants growing in our yard thanks to our pet pig not eating all of her treats ;)
